The understated, monochromatic appearance of the May family is detailed without being technical. The chair leads the way for the defining interactions of the design in which a delicate surface meets a bold frame - two opposing elements which somehow comfortably coexist. Mirrored in the tables, it creates a repetition of lines that brings lightness, direction, and unity to the family.
